Anyone out there been screwed over by the wedding photographer? & Was it with The Photo Lady?

Her name is Lora from Photography by Lora, in Newmarket, ON (aka The Photo Lady) .... to make a long story short: I was in my friend's bridal party, which was almost a year ago now, & till this day she has not rec'd her final photos, and the proofs she rec'd beforehand were pure crap! - to say the least and way too dark, no head on shots, there were multiples and triples of the same photos in the proofs, eg. blk and wht, then again in colour etc... the list goes on and on! Anyhow, this bride is devastated that she spent so much $$$ on what any regular guest could of shot, never mind her guests actually took better shots than the actual photographer! So what Lora advertised from her website and portfolio's is not what the bride got or asked for! Another issue, she's tried in vain to get Lora to contact her and return her calls and emails etc. to discuss about this but the woman keeps avoiding all her calls, emails etc. What it comes down to is, she's putting a case together and so anyone else out there who's had negative dealings with this Photographer it would be appreciated if we can hear your story and what you've done about it. Photoshop cs2 no background?

I want to use an image i created but i dont want the white background so that when i place the image into indesign, it only shows that image and allows my background to show up. well 9 times out of 10 it prob is your solenoid switch...i had a recent problem with my truck where it wouldnt crank and we ruled that out by trying a new solenoid....a good easy way to check is turn your key to the off position...dont crank it up and then take off the top plug and touch a metal object from the top to the side( the bolts) if it cranks in the off position it is either your wiring or switch...after you find out this just take it to your local mechanic and he can help you from there

But if we had absolute free will, wouldn't we be able to transcend these laws, as for instance, to defy gravity and take flight at any moment we pleased? I generally believe that free will translates into the freedom to make choices, good or bad, for one's self. However, since humans are subject to the same laws of physics because we too are mere material beings, how can we possibly claim free will when we are bound by certain physical laws? what kind of oil are you mixing in gas and at what ratio? if you are running a synthetic, you should be at about 32:1 - 40:1. if you are using cheap non synthetic, then 20:1-28:1. it is fouling out your spark plug because you are either A- not mixing the fuel oil correctly, or B- maybe not riding it. it will foul out the plug if it sits and idles alot. as long as you arte riding it and riding it on the powerband, then i would say it is the type and mixture of the oil.

My daughter had blood-work done at the pediatricians office for a high viral fever. Long story short there was another child in the room before us so we had to wait. When we were called in the nurse, an LPN, already had everything setup . There was what appeared to be a clean paper towel , on it was an already unpackeged erfly needle, however there was a plastic piece still covering the needle end, no blood seen to the naked eye, and a cotton ball soaked in alcohol I guess and blood tubes. I did not see any tube holder though. I was so nervous because my daughter was crying and I was so upset I forgot to ask for a new needle to be opened in front of me. Is it odd for a ped office to set up and unpackage before the patient gets in the room? I am so nervous that a used needle could have been accidentally used because there was another child in the room with a different nurse before us. If the gates of Heaven and the presence of God are so great after death, why would ANYONE reject it for Hell?

If when you die, no matter what kind of life you led, it's as easy as looking at both Heaven and Hell, and you see Hell is extremely awful as you'd see and Heaven is this awesome pleasure paradise, then why in the world would anyone see Heaven, decline it, and choose Hell? That'd be like looking at two different foods to eat for dinner and choosing, either a bunch of live maggots, worms, and termites, or a tasty dinner from Red Lobster. So choosing Hell makes no sense. Obviuously, I'd choose Red Lobster after looking at both. And since you're talking eternity, it'd make much more sense for God to let you experience BOTH places for a moment. You wouldn't reject Heaven and then choose Hell if you've been to both places. And why woould God have to be so cruel and sadistic to arrange it where he makes you powerless to get out? And why must be be forever? I view the Christian God as a sadistic monster. I have more human compion than him. You make one little mistakeand he tortures you forever. That's cruel and sadistic. And again, if you really see both places after you die, why would ANYONE decline Heaven and freely choose to be lit on fire over and over again in excruciating pain? I favor my left side, how do I get out of that habit and even things out?

I favor my left side on pretty much everything i do, i notice walking I put more pressure on my left leg/foot, and I also shoot ball/kick left handed/footed if that is important, although i write right handed. Anyways this has become troubling recently cus I have taken up weightlifting the past couple of months and my left arm seems to pick up most of the work when I lift weights and because of this it has grown bigger than my right arm. Also, when doing situps, my left abs are clearly way bigger and more defined than my right abs. I try to be consciously aware of this when lifting weights and focus more on my right side, but it just doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know how I can start 'favoring my right side' more?

My friend has 2 convictions one for ault and one for harrment. He recieved a non custodial sentence under british law. He was given a five year order to stay away from someone. My 10 year old gsd is limping on his leg with a plate in it?

He got his front right leg stuck between two logs one day in the woods when we were walking when he was around 5-6 years old and it broke, he got major surgery and now has a plate in it, the plate has been in since that time, he hasn't had a problem with it in probably 2-3 years. Yesterday he started limping and being very lame on it, he will still put it to the ground but you can see the obvious shoulder drop and limp on it as well. He is being very lazy, panting heavily at times, licking his leg, and can't/won't go up the stairs. He is staying in the basement and the garage and won't go outside either, one of his favorite things... he is allowed to run freely. I am only 15, I can't take him to the vet myself, I don't know what to do. I have been asking my parents to take him to the vet but they seem to think that he just hit it off something and it is sore. Me, I don't think so... Should I MAKE them take him to the vet? Or should I wait it out with them to see if it is only sore? Thanks.

While I don't see the benefit of one name over the other, I also don't see the point in changing it now. They should call it the "When the hell will it ever be built" tower. I don't know about the Jupiter or Emerson, but I think you definitely should rethnk Gemeinhardt. Granted they cost A LOT, but it is so worth it. It's better to buy a flute of better quality that will last longer than to settle for a cheap one you will have to replace anyhow. I guess it also really depends also on what your playing for and how serious your playing is. If you play outside, I would get whatever is cheapest. I play inside, so I opted for the full sterling silver body with a gold headjoint (another thing to consider, gold headjoints sweeten high notes). But if you still don't want the Gemeinhardt, just go to a store, like Sam Ash or something, and let them test out both flutes, and pick out the one you like best. It really comes down to which flute YOU feel more comfortable with.

im sorry to hear about your loss. i have heard from a vet, as weird as this may sound...rabbits aren't supposed to eat carrots...mad i know as that's what the are ociated with all the time...anyway this could or couldn't be it...you could have an autopsy done on your bunny (i know it isn't a nice thought) it may have had an underlying health problem that hadn't been found. all i can suggest is to keep a close eye on your remaining rabbit. also to answer other part of your question. rabbits can be rather territorial and yes your rabbit may have been ok with the other but that was because it had been brought up with her. if you bring in another rabbit it will have another scent and they may fight. but if you do decide to get another one then maybe get them used to each other slowly by having them seperate and maybe swapping some hay from each cage to the other so they can get used to the scent and then move onto puttin them in a room together supervised to see how they are with each other. it may take time so you have to be patient but make sure that if you get a male that he is neutured or you will have more babie then you have had hot dinners =D

I'm in the same boat! I ovulated on the 1st, and my cycles are usually 34 days. I had the light pink bleeding as well last night (13dpo), but it is gone today. I've been doing some research, and from what I understand, it is possible to have implantation that late. The 10dpo that everyone talks about is average. (like they use 28 for average cycle length and 14 for ovulation). So I'm hoping that since my cycle is usually longer than the average person and I didn't ovulate until cd16, that I may still have a chance. I did have a BFN this morning, but if I didn't implant until yesterday, then the pregnancy hormones haven't had a chance to get in my system yet. I hope I am right! LOL. So don't give up yet! You aren't for sure not pregnant until AF arrives! Keep us updated!

I was having a discussion tonight with family about the types of food some people spend their welfare (americans taxpayers) money on. I always thought welfare should be just like WIC. Cat incontinence problems?

Hello, I have a 5 year old cat who is paralyzed in her back legs. she just drags her hind parts around. needless to say she does not use the box as she does not know when she is going potty. I have let her roam free and do her business wherever for years. i had to steam clean my carpet at least every month, and when i moved into my new place, i started putting her in diapers. i was thrilled they stayed on, but this caused another problem. she got a bacterial infection, got diarrhea, so i had her on antibodies and took her out of the diapers. ever since she has been out of the diapers, she has had poopy problems. she gets constipated then she gets diarrhea with some firm stool mixed in. she wont go for a couple of days, then when it does come out, its all juicy before the normal poo comes out. I have been on my hands and knees cleaning poop spots for two months now, i have spent so much money at the vet that i can not afford to take her anymore, and i feel horrible for causing all these problems, i am at the end of my rapidly fraying rope. i cook oven roasted chicken for her to eat, she does not seem to feel sick and eats and drinks a lot. Does anyone have any idea what i can do to get her regular again?

Well while he is a sweet guy and a Gentleman long distances always play a major role on relationships (weather you been together for months or for years). So what i would say is I would ume it's over since he's been gone for so long. How can I motivate myself to do the things I want to do in life?

It's like I have a blueprint of my life laid out in front of me that contains all the things I want to learn, the things I want to do, who I want to be... but yet wanting those things is just not enough to keep me motivated to actually do them. For example when I go to the bookstore I buy a bunch of books, but then I end up not reading them. And when I'm trying to learn a language, I learn the basics, but then I get bored and move onto another language. I do everything last minute for school, and I can never really focus. Although I get good grades, I still have a sense of unfulfillment because I feel like I just breezed through all of my cles without learning anything worthwhile. I don't see how I'll ever get anywhere in life with this problem. I just feel so lazy and useless. How can I find the motivation to buckle down and do things instead of just thinking about them?

Two weeks ago my bf died in a car crash and i was devestated. Me and him are deployed overseas right now. The sad thing is, i was the last person to know. Is this normal for tonsillitis?

about 4 days ago i randomly got the chills and became very weak. next thing I knew, the very next day i was in the hospital rocking back and forth, with a fever over 100F unable to swallow and ping out every few minutes. My doctor told me i had tonsillitis. She prescribed some penicillin and it took a few days for my mom to actually go out and get it for me. but since that doctors visit, i noticed my symptoms worsening. My tongue is very swollen, to the point i cannot fully close my mouth without biting on my tongue, which now has blisters all along the sides. My cheeks and gums are full of the little white patches i found on my tonsils and the roof of my mouth is coated with them, making it impossible to ingest anything. Whats really weird is even though i keep gargling with hot water and salt 2 times a day it seems to have now spread to my lips. my bottom lip is swollen and puffy, there are giant whit blisters on them about the size of my middle fingernail. I`ve thought about going back to the doctor but im afraid i will just waste my time. How long does this usually last anyways?

Does she eat a lot and not gain weight? Does she not want to eat? If she eats fine and she isn't gaining any weight I would have her tested for hypoglycemia. My son has always eaten very well but never gained weight. Then one day when he was three he ped out on my living room floor right in front of me, it was because he was hypoglycemic and he was having a spell. Because he is hypoglycemic his matabolism is very fast so that makes it very hard for him to gain weight even though he eats just like a normal kid, maybe even more I think. Just a thought.

My Kitten won't eat..?

An 8 week old kitten should still be with his mother. I don't return my foster kittens to the shelter for neutering and adoption until they are at least 12 weeks. He should be fed canned kitten food, with a bit of kitten kibble available. As to what's wrong with him, it could be anything. Sorry, but he needs to see the vet. When someone adopts a cat at our shelter, they sign a form promising to take the cat to their vet within 10 days of adoption. IPhoto won't delete photos?

Okay, so I have iPhoto on my school laptop. I'm trying to get rid of all my stuff before we have to turn them in next month. So, I went onto iPhoto and tried deleting my photos. Well, when I did, the photos stays there, but weren't clickable. So, I went to another album and came back. The photos were gone. I went to the trash and saw them there, so I emptied the trash. I decided to make sure they were deleted, so I quit iPhoto and opened it again. Well, when I opened it, my photos were all back where they had been. I've done this a number of times, and nothing's working. I can't even delete my slideshows and albums. I have plenty of room on my laptop - I only have a few NeoOffice doents, some photos, and some songs on iTunes. According to the Macintosh HD thing, I have 101.7 GB of space available, so I know that's not an issue. The weirdest thing is that I'm not even getting an error message. Can anyone help?

I got pulled over for a DUI a year ago. Sweat at School: good antipersperant?

I sweat a lot and weird thing is, i only usually sweat while at school! So i have been trying to wear sleeveless shirts but it gets tiring. I have tried a bunch of "clinical" strength deodorants and they don't really help... I have also used Degree and Secret and Dove and a bunch of their clinical strength brands but nothing works. So i was wondering what i should use? I was looking and the web said "Certain Dri" was good. I wasn't so sure though. So any help? And if Certain Dri works, is the stick or roll-on work better?

Green living and Disability?

My father's kidneys have failed him. He is on a kidney machine twelve hours a day. Many cardboard boxes bring supplies to us. All of the boxes go to the Masonic Lodge so they can take orders of soups to their customers during the winter. In the summer the boxes are here for anyone that is moving or knows someone moving. Instead of taking charitable items in plastic garbage bags we use his boxes. The only garbage bags he uses are for sharps. Everything else he discards goes to the bin in a box.

I think you have a genuine point that this may be the cause of the bedwetting for some kids. And I don't think, like some others here, that you are trying to say all kids with bedwetting have bad parents. But for you & your situtation this is true & may be for others out there. I, too get a little irritated when I see parents treating their kids like they did some thing wrong when they wet the bed. I, myself, had a longtime bed-wetting "issue". I mean a really long time. (I must be over it now to be admitting this here.) And the doctors always said maybe it's this, maybe it's that. I had pills, nose sprays & other medications that I would use when I had to sleep over somewhere, but the dr.s didn't want me to rely on that all the time. For me, it was simply that I sleep too hard and it just took time (a really long time) for my body to grow up & learn to wake up when I had to pee.

thats good man, maybe try and work on either the saturday or sunday though so you dont rest for 2 days and dont cram 4 workouts into the space of 5 days, as this is not enough time for your muscles to reapir and grow at optimum speed, if you spread the 4 workouts over 7 days your muscles will have more time to reapir and will grow faster

I watched this episode on Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air about Will and his cousin Carlton being in this franternity group. When the franternity leader saw carlton as a "soft" person because of the life he lives as a rich person that has not experianced the struggle-to-success the rest of the group members had including Will despite the fact that Carlton is a Top-A student and a hard worker when it comes to school work.
