Is this spotting normal or sign of miscarraige?

So this might get tmi but, thursday night/ Friday morning my husband and I were intimate. On Friday morning I woke up and everything was normal but when I got to work it looked lie I began my period (bright red about the size of a Gatorade cap). I had light cramping but have had it for the last two weeks on and off ( I only notice it when I think about it). It stopped after that and the rest of the day was fine. Today after I woke up I noticed very faint blood in the tolied but not vey much in my underwear and it is a lighter pink. I am only 7 weeks along and my dr. Appt to confirm everything is monday. I am just scared of miscarraige.
