Guy's opinion needed!!! girls too if you've got input!!! please!!?

Well while he is a sweet guy and a Gentleman long distances always play a major role on relationships (weather you been together for months or for years). So what i would say is I would ume it's over since he's been gone for so long. Yes he probably had feelings but since you seem to have a big age difference it probably won't work, and if you talk to him when he comes home you'll probably just have another summer fling and then he'll be off and gone again and you'll be left broken hearted. So maybe see him as a friend and hangout with him? but only go as far as you want because he could be gone before you know it...good luck :)
