Is it true that Bayani Agbayani won the Philippine Starball?

I was rather sleepy when I watched all these wonderful couples from all over the world traipsing and waltzing all over the floors of the Shangrila Hotel. But at the end, I saw Bayani rendering "Otso otso" in his coat and tie! So, did he win the grand prize? Did he actually beat the Russians, Italians and what nots?
