Christianity, Buddhism, and Euthanasia?

I'm writing a comparative essay on Buddhism and Christian views on Euthanasia, and I need a good thesis statement. So far my research shows me that both religions are pretty much against euthanasia, but should I take a side and say that one is more against it than the other? And which side would actually be easier to argue for?
