Do you end up blocking more people than you put on your contact list?

I kinda have kept to myself all my life. I have not watched television in 8 years (im a big reader), i dont go out to bars & i really only have a few friends, friends that i have known all my life. So basically i am kinda cut off from the world.... I recently started using this yahooo answers & its making me realize why that is. Ppl are so effing rude! You could ask the most simple question & there is always a few ppl that will sneak in some snide, rude comment. Its unreal! I end up blocking half the ppl that answer my questions. I can handle when someone has a different opinion than me. Thats fine & expected. But i can not handle straight up, malicious rudeness. I cant & it seems that that is what ppl on here like to. I never answer a question to be rude. I only answer the questions i have an honest answer for & always try to answer to the best of my ability. Why are there so many gits out there? Do you end up blocking alot too?
